My last spring break has finally arrived and while I had planned to go hike part of the Appalachian Trail, I'm going to be stuck in Connecticut instead. I'm sure it's for the best as I'll get to take some time to sit alone, in the dark, moaning about the lack of activities in my life.
Just kidding... I'm not that bleak...
I am going to enjoy the time to myself though. I'm going to spend most o the time, getting $#|T done (like fixing my broken computer and car) and preparing myself for impending interviews.
I'm sort of glad I have a week off to catch up on all this work since I am straight up swamped. Although I may not show it, and often don't feel this way, but it's a challenge to take 7 classes and work an internship. Don't get me wrong, I'm in ove with what I'm doing, it's just tough getting all the thing I need to get done.
I've already done a preliminary spring cleaning of my room and I was able to hang up some of my bow ties. I swear I'll start selling them again soon, but like I said I'm swamped.
Beyond all that, since most of my friends are doing cool things over break and won't be around, I'm going to unplug myself from social media, at least for a while to get refreshed, re energized and rediscover my own personal brand.
I hope to whoever is reading this... You have a good time this next week and I challenge you to take at least a night to yourself, unplugged from society, and reflect on your life.
